From Page to Song

The words were waiting for their melodies.

This is where the original poems and the songs they became meet, what changed, what stayed, and what music revealed that the page could not.

Who Am I?

A poem written years before the recording artist existed became the fitting first song for Lioness Zen. The words came first; the musical voice came later.

Soul Petals Beneath the Snow

The poem began with questions about memory, hope and lasting love. Here, the spoken words sit beside the musical version, showing how melody can give familiar lines a different kind of weight.

Why poetry becomes music

Some poems arrive with their own rhythm already hidden inside them. When I begin turning one into a song, I listen for where the words want to breathe, which lines want to linger, and where melody can reveal something the page could only suggest.

This is where I share that transformation, from the original words to the music they eventually became.
